Runnymede 2035 Local Plan (Emerging)

The Local Plan will set out the amount of development expected to come forward in the Borough over the next 20 years and where this should be located.

The Local Plan will eventually replace the 2001 version as the principal guide to future development in Runnymede until 2035.

A revised Local Development Scheme (LDS) was taken to the Planning Committee on Wednesday, 25 October 2017, and can be viewed on the Planning Committee Agendas 2017 page.

The LDS was agreed by the Planning Committee and will be taken to Full Council on Wednesday, 7 December 2017, for approval and to be adopted.

A special meeting of the Planning Committee has been arranged for Wednesday, 20 December 2017, at 7.30pm in the Council Chamber to consider the draft Local Plan.

A special meeting of the Full Council has also been arranged for Tuesday, 9 January 2018, at 7.30pm in the Council Chamber to receive the recommendations of the special Planning Committee in relation to the draft Local Plan.

The Runnymede Local Plan 2035 Additional Sites and Options Consultation has now closed. The consultation document and relevant information can be found on the Runnymede 2035 Local Plan Consultation Page.
