Business in Runnymede

Runnymede is a desirable, green-belt location with low unemployment and a highly-skilled workforce. The borough has become a major location for knowledge-based companies and international headquarters because of its excellent communication links. It's close to Heathrow Airport and London, with easy access to the M3 and M25. Companies in the area include IBM, Gartner, Samsung, ADP, Compass, P&G and Toshiba.

The largest centres of commerce are in Addlestone, Chertsey and Egham. There's a wide range of premises for all types and size of business and numerous trading estates and business parks.

Business parks

Addlestone:
The Weybridge Business Park and Bourne Business Park on Hamm Moor Lane are bases for many firms specialising in IT, manufacturing, distribution and repair. Aviator Park is in Station Road.

Chertsey:
Office developments include Hillswood Business Park, Gogmore Lane and Hanworth Lane Business Park. Chertsey also has two trading estates: Fordwater Road and Chertsey Bridge.

Egham:
The Causeway is home to several software companies, manufacturers and distributors. There are also the smaller Pine Tree Business Park on Chertsey Lane and Rivers Edge Industrial Park on River Park Avenue.

Thorpe:
The business park in Crabtree Road is part-owned by Runnymede Borough Council.
