Arts Partnership

Runnymede Borough Council is part of Arts Partnership Surrey (APS) - an alliance of nine local councils and trusts, working together to bring cultural experiences to local residents.

The partnership's current priorities are:

  • Community - support health and wellbeing
  • Economy - boost cultural tourism and promote the creative industries
  • People - engage with children, young people and families and support vulnerable and isolated adults
  • Arts and Culture - develop new audiences and encourage cultural activity in unusual spaces

APS Video

We are excited to announce the launch of an APS video showcasing some of the fantastic projects that have been developed as a result of this partnership.

Current Projects

Learning to Fly

Using spoken word and poetry we'll be exploring the impact of World War 1 and the hidden stories of local people in various locations in Surrey .

In Runnymede, two workshops will be taking place at Chertsey Museum on Saturday 30 September as part of Living Well Week 2017 and Saturday 14 October, 11am until 12.30pm. To register your interest in attending this event please e-mail the Community Development Team.

If you can't make our workshop, don't worry, you can always take part in our crowd-sourced poem online!
