Runnymede Homeless Strategy 2019-24 Consultation

Every local authority in England should develop and publish a homeless strategy, setting out how it intends to tackle and prevent the issue in their area.

The strategy sets out how we, together with our partners, intend to meet the following objectives over the next five years:

1.      Early intervention for homeless prevention

2.      Ensure sufficient supply of accommodation

3.      Partnership working and holistic support

4.      Meeting the needs of those in temporary accommodation

We welcome your feedback and any other suggested targets and ambitions you feel we should be striving towards.

The consultation

The consultation runs from Monday, 21 January, to Sunday, 10 February. Following consideration of comments, we will seek adoption of the final document in spring 2019.
