The vast array of activities on offer in Runnymede will be celebrated during a weeklong jamboree that gets underway from 22 September.
Living Well Week, organised by the council's community development team, consists of sports, leisure events, taster sessions and more.
Now in its fifth year, it has grown from a day long event to a week long celebration, complete with its own launch party.
What's more, the majority of these are free.
To get things started a special event is being held in Abbeyfields, Chertsey, from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, 22 September, ahead of the full week of events beginning Monday, 24 September, to Sunday, 30 September.
Azra Mukadam is one of the week's organisers.
She said: "Living Well Week has been running since 2014 when we first held a one-day event for residents, since then we have grown in size, with more partners involved and more free or low-cost activities available throughout the week.
"We know how important it is for our residents to stay active and eat well.
"Events like these give people the opportunity to participate in some of the vast array of services, leisure activities and workshops that are available in Runnymede.
"This year we hope to encourage a wider group of people to come along and try out new activities, and hopefully continue to take part."
