Sports club support

Information on the Clubmark accreditation and local sports workshops.

Clubmark

An accredited club is recognised as a safe, effective and child-friendly sports environment.

All clubs which are affiliated with a Sport England recognised governing body now have the opportunity to join Runnymede's accredited clubs. Those which already hold accreditation can take advantage of Clubmark benefits by registering online with Active Surrey.

If you're interested in working toward accreditation or need support with the process, please email sport@runnymede.gov.uk or call 01932 425677 .

Surrey Sports Workshops

These provide the opportunity for sports clubs and coaches to access development and training. There are regular core workshops; Safeguarding and Protecting Children and First Aid, as well as other workshops of interest to include funding and inclusive sport.

Visit Active Surrey for dates of workshops and to book your place.

Runnymede Sport Club Update

We produce a regular e-newsletter update which includes any events, courses, funding opportunities or other stories which may be of interest to Sports clubs and organisations.

Sports clubs are also invited to submit events and notices to be published in the Runnymede Sport and Health E-Newsletter which is sent out to residents. To have information included, or to receive the Sport Club Update, email sport@runnymede.gov.uk.
