St Ann's Hill

Chertsey, KT16 9NL

This is a wooded park set on top of a hill with an interesting history and marvelous views over the surrounding countryside. Its commanding position is the reason for it having been a fort during the iron ages. It was also once part of a formal garden and several exotic trees and interesting features, such as the Nuns well, remain today. Accessed from St Ann's Hill Road, there is a small car park. The lower parts of the hill are Ancient Woodland which is carpeted in bluebells between April and May.
