The Orchard and Abbeyfields
Close to the centre of Chertsey, the Orchard and Abbeyfield is a tranquil park with an interesting history. It was once part of Chertsey Abbey and a small section of the old abbey wall and remnants of the abbey ponds and moats can still be seen there.
These pleasant grounds include a play area, sports facilities, and a short stroll is available alongside the Abbey River. It is also the venue for the popular annual Black Cherry Fair.
