On Tuesday 9 May, the Mayor, Councillor Alan Alderson, presented cheques to his chosen charities for his year as Mayor.

The presentation was held in the Runnymede Borough Council chambers and saw charities; Home Start, Dementia Carers - Runnymede and Woking and Sam Beare Hospices, receive over £25000.
