Advice following the incident in Westminster

Following the incident in Westminster on Wednesday, Runnymede Borough Council is offering its condolences to all those effected.

The flag outside the Civic Centre in Addlestone is flying at half mast and a minute silence will be held before the meeting of the Environment and Sustainability Committee meeting this evening (Thursday).

In line with advice from both Surrey Police and the Metropolitan Police, the Council is reminding residents that they remain crucial in helping keep our communities safe. Both forces have urged everyone to remain vigilant when out and about and if you see anything suspicious then let the police know using the Anti Terrorist Hotline 0800 789 321 or 999 in an emergency.
