Garages for rent

For both tenants and non-tenants the usual charge to rent a garage is £12 per week.

How to apply

Complete the online Garage application form.

If a garage is available we will make you an offer, or add your name to a waiting list if there are no vacancies.

You'll need to provide us with photo ID, proof of your national insurance number, a completed direct debit form and the first month's rent before we give you the keys.

If you owe any outstanding housing debts to Runnymede Borough Council we will not accept your application for a garage.

Using your garage

Your garage can be used for a vehicle must not be used to store household or garden items. Please read our pdf icon Garage Conditions of Licence (August 2016) [96kb] for full details of how you can use your garage.

Ending your garage licence

You can give us one week's notice to end your licence, ending on a Sunday. The keys should be returned to us by midday on a Monday. You must remove all your belongings and leave the garage in the same condition as you found it.
