CCTV FOR BUSINESS

CCTV cameras are concentrated in the town centres.

Under the 'Useful Information' Layer you will need to check the box for 'RBC CCTV Camera Locations'.

They are recorded 24 hours a day and operators monitor cameras 24 hours a day every day of the year in the Safer Runnymede care and control centre.

The pictures are full colour except in unlit areas at night when infra red lamps give excellent monochrome pictures. They are of evidential quality and have been used many times to obtain convictions.

Operated to a strict Code of Practice which is also available at public libraries across the Borough.
