CCTV for residents Caring for people 24 hours a day cameras are in every town in the Borough.

RBC CCTV Camera Locations (link to Runnymede Interactive Mapping Service website) - Under the 'Useful Information' Layer you will need to check the box for 'RBC CCTV Camera Locations'.

They are recorded 24 hours a day and operators monitor cameras 24 hours a day every day of the year in the Safer Runnymede care and control centre. The pictures are full colour except in unlit areas at night when infra red lamps give excellent monochrome pictures. They are of evidential quality and have been used many times to obtain convictions. Operated to a strict Code of Practice which is also available online or at public libraries across the Borough. They have enabled the town car parks to be awarded 'the Park Mark Safer Parking' status and car crime in car parks is much reduced.
