COMMUNITY SAFETY IN RUNNYMEDE

Members of The Safer Runnymede Partnership are working hard to make the Borough an even safer place to live. 

In the last eight years we have:

tick icon Increased arrests for anti-social behaviour

tick iconReduced fear of crime by 50%

tick iconCut the chance of being a victim of crime in the borough by a third

tick iconInstalled games areas and skate parks for young people

tick iconFunded youth centres which provide activities for young people after school.

 The Safer Runnymede camera system is one of the most extensive in the country - most public areas of the Borough benefit from monitoring and protection 24/7.
