Members of The Safer Runnymede Partnership are working hard to make the Borough an even safer place to live.
In the last eight years we have:
Introduced a graffiti team to deal with graffiti rapidly
Increased arrests for anti-social behaviour
Reduced fear of crime by 50%
Cut the chance of being a victim of crime in the borough by a third
Installed games areas and skate parks for young people
Funded youth centres which provide activities for young people after school.
The Safer Runnymede camera system is one of the most extensive in the country – most public areas of the Borough benefit from monitoring and protection 24/7.
