Local Development Framework
The Local Development Framework (LDF) consists of a number of documents which together will eventually replace the current 2001 Local Plan and form the development plan for the borough until 2026.

Local Plan
The Runnymede Borough Local Plan 2001 sets out the Council's policies for guiding and controlling land use.Until the New Core Strategy is adopted, 'saved' policies from the 2001 plan continue to form part of the development plan.

Impact Assessment
Impact assessment is the application of a group of procedures to ensure that the implications of any decisions are taken into account before the decisions are made. Runnymede Borough Council uses these procedures to consider its own and other impacts on the sustainable development objectives of the Borough.
