The Council offers a pest control service to deal with infestations of rats, mice and insects. However, this service is contracted to Clements Environmental Services.

Charges as of January 2011 for this service are as follows:

Rats and mice £67

Wasps £46

All insects (fleas/ bedbugs etc) between £72 - £92

Cockroaches  from £128 + VAT

Squirrels - £82

Call outs - £20 

All prices include VAT

There is a reduction in cost for a rat or mouse treatment only, for people receiving Working Families Tax Credit, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit, or other means tested benefit.
