Welcome to the Runnymede Accreditation Scheme
The aim of the Accreditation Scheme is to recognise and promote quality student private rented housing in the Borough and promote good tenant behaviour.
Accreditation certificates are awarded where landlords can demonstrate that their property and its management meet certain minimum standards. These 'Accreditation Standards' in the main reflect the minimum legal requirements and in some cases represent good practice.
The scheme is being administered by Runnymede Borough Council with the full support of Royal Holloway University of London, the RHUL Students' Union, Surrey Fire and Rescue, Surrey Police and Safer Runnymede.
