UPDATE
Please note the consultation period for the Core Strategy Issues and Options has now ended and we are now considering the comments received. We would like to thank all those who responded as your views are important to us. Results of the consultation will be posted on this page in due course. Please contact the LDF team if you require any additional information.
We are changing the way we plan in Runnymede. Under new planning laws we need to produce a Local Development Framework for the Borough. This is made up of a series of planning documents which we will use to guide development in Runnymede over the next 20 years.
The Core Strategy is the first of our replacement documents. This will set out the strategic planning policies dealing with issue such as where new housing will go, what our approach to development will be and how we are going to deal with environmental issues such as flooding and climate change.
This is the first stage in preparing this document; we are therefore seeking views on the issues and options affecting the Borough. To help you think about these issues we have prepared a series of topic papers and an online questionnaire seeking views on these issues and options.
Please take this opportunity to help us plan the way that Runnymede Borough will look and develop over the next two decades.
The Issues and Options Papers and the Housing Land Availability Assessment can be downloaded by clicking on each of the following links:
