Jonathan has lived in Egham since 2005. After graduating from Royal Holloway College with a BA(Hons) in History he was elected to Runnymede Borough Council in May 2008.
He currently serves as Vice-Chairman of the Community Services Committee and also sits on the Planning Committee.
In the past he has served upon numerous committees including Economic Development, Leisure and Environment and Housing. He has also served as Chairman of a number of working groups.
Jonathan is passionate that Runnymede remains a sustainable community with first-class local amenities and services. To ensure that this continues to be the case he is against any over-development that damages the social or economic fabric of the Borough. He also believes that, wherever possible, decisions affecting the community should be taken at a very local level and not by central government.
Jonathan also enjoys travelling, studying Russian history and culture, reading a diverse selection of books and journals and adding to his very eclectic music selection!
