Children's Tax Credit was an income tax relief for people with children.

The tax relief, Children's Tax Credit, was available for two years. It began on 6 April 2001 (tax year 2001-02) and ended on 5 April 2003 (tax year 2002-03) when it was replaced by the Child Tax Credit, which is paid to you directly as part of any tax credits you might be entitled to.
