If you are a tenant of the Borough there are numerous ways to pay your rent but the Council’s preferred method of payment is by Direct Debit. Direct Debits can be paid either weekly, fortnightly, four weekly or monthly on 1st or 15th of each month. Please contact the Tenancy Management Section on 01932 425821 for a Direct Debit Instruction.
Other ways to pay your rent are:
Online, through this website
At any post office
At the Paypoint machine in the Civic Centre, Station Road, Addlestone
Through a Bank Standing Order
By phone
By post (cheque payments only)
By Credit Card (please telephone 01932 425821 for details)
To pay at the Post Office you will need a swipe card and to pay through the bank you will need a Bank Standing Order form. Both of these can be obtained from our Tenancy Management Section on telephone number 01932 425821.
If you are not sure of how much to pay or are getting behind with the rent you will need to speak to one of our members of staff. Again please contact our Tenancy Management Officers on 01932 425821.
In 2011/2012 the average weekly rent for a council home in Runnymede is £93.38.
The average weekly rent for the different property sizes is:-

Total amount of rent due for 2010/2011 was £13,432,516. Of this 99.96% was collected in the year.
Arrears outstanding at 3rd April 2011 were £167,727 for current tenants and £13,025 for former tenants.
