Biography: 

Chris Chapman was first elected to Runnymede Borough Council in May 2008. He currently serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Review Board and as a member of the Housing and Community Services committee. Chris has also previously served on the Leisure and Environment Committee.

Chris lives in Egham and works at Royal Holloway, University of London. Whilst studying Politics and International Relations at Royal Holloway, he became involved in local politics with the aspiration of rolling back bureaucracy and state interference. Chris feels strongly that decision making should be devolved to the local level and that the residents of Runnymede, not central government, should decide what goes on in their community.
