The Runnymede Business Partnership celebrated its 10th anniversary by cutting the cake at their breakfast meeting on 11 November. Foxhills Club, Ottershaw, sponsored the event and baked the special cake, which was cut by the current and 2 previous Chairs of the Partnership. Over 100 guests attended the meeting where Mark Adams, the current Chair, Christine Spurling the second, and Cllr Chris Norman, the first Chairman, cut the cake.
Over the last 10 years the Partnership's achievements range from setting up the Loyalty card Scheme, which supports local businesses and now has 5000 members, to the Yellow school Bus scheme - now in it's 7th year and carrying about 500 students twice a day. All these initiatives could not be accomplished without the support and sponsorship of local firms.
