Biography: Alan Alderson is aged 63, a business adviser of 40 years’ experience, and is married with 3 grown-up children. He has lived in Egham for 28 years and has been an Independent Runnymede Borough Councillor, representing Egham Town Ward, for the past 8 years. He is the treasurer of RAGE (Residents Against Gravel Extraction) and also the treasurer for the Runnymede Independent Residents’ Group, the local independent "umbrella” organisation of which Egham Residents’ Association is a founder member.
