Biography: Alan Alderson is 63, a business adviser of 40 years’ experience, and is married with three grown-up children. He has lived in Egham for 28 years and has been an Independent Runnymede Borough Councillor, representing Egham Town Ward, for the past eight years. He is the treasurer of RAGE (Residents Against Gravel Extraction) and also the treasurer for the Runnymede Independent Residents’ Group, the local independent "umbrella” organisation of which Egham Residents’ Association is a founder member.
