Biography: I have lived in Thorpe Village since 1981 and am married with two sons aged 25 and 28. Over the years I have been actively involved with FOTSA (Friends of Thorpe School Association) and was the first Parent Governor for Thorpe School. I have also been involved with the Scout movement and am still Secretary and Treasurer of Thorpe Youth Association.

After working at a local Doctor's surgery for twelve years, I became involved with TWRA (Thorpe Ward Residents' Association) and was then asked to stand as an Independent candidate in 2004 for Thorpe Ward. I have now been a Councillor for just over two years and hope I have made some contribution to my local community and also to Runnymede Borough itself.
