Biography:

I have lived in Thorpe since 1981 and am married with two sons, 31 and 28. Over the years I have been actively involved with FOTSA (Friends of Thorpe School Association) and was the first Parent Governor of Thorpe C of E School. I have also been involved with the Scout movement within Thorpe village and continue to be in my capacity as Secretary, Treasurer and Trustee of Thorpe Youth Association. The Association is currently working very hard to raise funds for a replacement HQ for all the youth to use.

After working at a local Doctor's surgery for twelve years, I became involved with TWRA (Thorpe Ward Residents' Association) and was then asked to stand as an Independent candidate in 2004 for Thorpe Ward. I was re-elected in 2008. I just want to make some contribution to my local community, especially the young people and also to Runnymede Borough as a whole.
