Runnymede Borough Council manages five sheltered schemes for eligible older residents.

The schemes provide a secure comfortable environment whilst allowing the residents to maintain their independence.

There is a resident manager at each scheme and a link to the community alarm when the manager is off duty, so there is 24 hour cover and peace of mind for the occupants.

As we have explained elsewhere on our web page, tenants moving from sheltered housing may be eligible for a grant of £2,000 plus extra maintenance work to their new home.
