During bank holiday weeks your refuse will normally be one day behind with Friday's collection being picked up on a Saturday.

Instructions for Refuse Collections

Please present your bin on the boundary of your property by 6.00am on the morning of collection and ensure the bin lid is closed.

To encourage further recycling and reduce waste we do not:-

• empty bins that are overfilled so that the bin lid won't close
• empty bins that contain green waste
• collect any waste that is not contained within the bin (side waste).
• liquids, such as waste oil and paint, brick rubble and metal bars. These can be taken to a Recycling Centre. They are located at Lyne Lane, Lyne, Martyrs Lane, Woking and Charlton Lane, Shepperton.

Special Collections

We can arrange to collect unwanted furniture, for bulky household items there is a fee for up to three items, an additional charge is made for each additional item.

One free collection in a 12 month period is given for those residents in receipt of means tested benefits e.g. income support.

We also provide one free collection per year to any residents over 75 years old.
