Assisted Collection Service

An assisted collection service is provided to residents who are unable to move their wheeled bin to the front of the property ready for collection. When this service is agreed, the refuse collector will collect, empty and return the wheeled bin to a convenient spot, generally in the front garden.

Whilst you may be unable to move your wheeled bin because of infirmity or a disability, there may be another member of your household who can help you. It is also possible to exchange your bin for a smaller bin, which would be easier to move. To avoid having to move the wheeled bin an alternative is to leave it at the edge of the property and drop in bags of refuse from time to time. Therefore you may not need assistance.
