 Welcome
One off funding grant

Aim

The aim of the fund is to support voluntary and community organisations providing services to vulnerable Runnymede residents (eg older people, people with special needs, carers, children, minority groups). Organisations must not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, religious or philosophical conviction or any other grounds. The amount of grant approved is likely to be in the region of £500 - £2,000, for one-off funding only.

Principles

Priority will be given to schemes that deliver demonstrable benefit to the community in Runnymede. deliver time limited rescue packages to pick up essential services from a voluntary organisation that is ceasing/ceased to operate to allow the services to transfer to a different charitable organisation.

Schemes should:

  • be pilot projects that meet local needs and have on-going funding available from other sources to continue after the pilot period
  • build community strengths and meet unmet needs
