Runnymede Playschemes

The Runnymede Playschemes first opened their doors in 1990 and consist of Playschemes for 5 - 7 year olds and Play Plus schemes for 8 - 11 year olds. The schemes operate during the school summer holidays, at different locations around the Borough in schools, halls, clubs and recreational fields.

Runnymede Splash

Splash started in 1992 and we are proud to be the only Borough in Surrey that hosts this unique scheme. Splash is a three week scheme for 11 to 16 year olds during the summer holidays. Splash operates from a designated venue in the Borough with a bus service available to all participants to assist with transportation.

ROAR (Runnymede Open Access Recreation)

'ROAR' is a lottery funded project which aims to provide children age 5-13 with FREE open access play in parks, open spaces and community venues across the borough after school and during school holidays.

New BMX track at Bishops Way open space

We would really like your help in the final design of the new BMX track at Bishops Way open space which Leisure services are proposing to install. Bishops Way is about a 5 minute walk from Magna Carta school towards Thorpe Lea School. So far we worked out where on Bishops Way open space to put it, its size etc. We would be grateful if you could fill in this short questionnaire. Once you have filled it in please press send at the bottom of the page. If you have any questions about it please e-mail matthew.godfrey@runnymede.gov.uk. Thank you very much for your help.
