GRANT AID

The Council makes grants available to assist local voluntary and community groups and individuals who participate either in the sports or the arts or voluntary, educational or charitable activities considered to be worthy of support. A variety of different grants programmes are available, details of which can be found here.

Note to Applicants

IN VIEW OF BUDGETARY CONSTRAINTS APPLICATIONS FOR GRANT AID FROM SPORTSPERSONS OR INDIVIDUALS WILL BE CONSIDERED IN OCTOBER THIS YEAR. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS IS 15 SEPTEMBER. PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO NEW APPLICANTS.

THE CAPITAL GRANT AID BUDGET FOR THIS YEAR HAS BEEN FULLY SPENT. THERE ARE NO MORE FUNDS AVAILABLE. APPLICATIONS MAY BE CONSIDERED FROM APRIL 2011 FOR FUNDING IN THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2011-2012.
