Communications and media enquiries

Runnymede Borough Council's Communications Office is operational weekdays 8.30am-5.30pm, with voicemail facilities outside these hours. We provide accurate, up to the minute information concerning council policy and the issues affecting and promoting the Borough of Runnymede, in north west Surrey.

Out of hours urgent media enquiries, please call the Communications Manager on 07811 406080 and leave a message. This applies only to media journalists and reporters.

Council Magazine - Runnymede Voice

The council produces three times a year a magazine, in colour, for all in Runnymede, called Runnymede Voice. This is free to residents and business and contains information about events and activities in the borough and services the Council delivers. Enquiries about content can be made by telephoning 01932 425501 or 01932 425504 or e-mail communications@runnymede.gov.uk

Filming permission and special events

Media requiring permission to film and organisations wishing to hold events or gain parking dispensation within Runnymede should contact the special filming events officer on 01932 425692. Please call this number for a one-stop regulation and information service for event and filming activities on the Council's public highway.

The Communications team advises the rest of the Council on high quality, professionally produced publicity and marketing as well as campaign management. Training is available.
