The Council does offer a pest control service to deal with infestations of rats, mice and insects. However, this service is contracted to Clements Environmental Services.

Charges as of April 2008 for this service are as follows:

Rats / Mice - £65

Wasps - £45

All Insects - £70 - £90

Cockroaches - From £125

Squirrels - £80

Call outs - £20 

All prices include VAT

There is a reduction in cost for people receiving Working Families Tax Credit, Income Support, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit, Disability Working Allowance or Job Seekers Allowance or other means tested benefits.
