If you wish to carry out any of the above trades, it is necessary to be licensed with the local authority in whose area you intend to work. You will find on this website details and copies of all relevant application forms, together with vehicle specifications and check lists. Whilst the application forms are self explanatory, if you have any questions please contact the licensing section on 01932 425711 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Mondays to Thursday and 9 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. on Fridays. You may visit the offices Monday to Friday, without an appointment between 10 a.m. and 12 noon, however, outside these hours we would ask you to make an appointment as this will enable us to ensure that you are dealt with swiftly.
