Playday Madness 2009
Saturday 29th August at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds
Playday was a chance to celebrate childrens rights to play. The day consisted of 4 hours of free activities including a water slide, water fights, a rope swing, junk modelling, tree dressing, face painting, the chance to explore a fire engine, police car and ambulance and lots more! |

ROAR Summer Play Session Spectacular 2009
Monday 17th – Friday 28th August 2009 at Heathervale Recreation Ground, Chertsey Recreation Ground, Ottershaw Memorial Fields, the Hythe Centre Open Space and Englefield Green.
The summer play sessions were completely free choice, children were able to choose from a variety of equipment such as sports, games, music, circus skills and art and craft! There were also lots of spontaneous activities such as water fights and playing cricket in the rain wearing bin bags! |

Tuesday 6th - Friday 16th April at Abbeyfields in Chertsey, The Hythe Centre Open Space in Egham and Heathervale Recreation Ground in New Haw.
These play sessions were free choice and children could choose from a variety of exciting activities such as sports, games, art and craft, messy play, circus skills and fire pit cooking! |

Playday 2010
Saturday 21st August at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds from 12.00pm - 4.00pm
Just under 400 people joined together to celebrate this years Playday event enjoying a wide variety of free activities ranging from junk modelling, music making, kite making and mask making to an assault course, playzone, wacky races and water slide! There was even the chance to explore a fire engine, police van and ambulance!
The national theme for playday this year was 'Our place'. The 'Our place' campaign aims to put children at the heart of communities, and asks everyone, young and old, to help create better places for all of us to live and play.
