Under 'rolling registration' people can register to vote between December and early August each year.  These amendments to the register are published on a monthly basis.

Please find below the deadlines for each monthly update to the register.

This is because new legislation requires us to extend the registration deadline immediately preceding an election to allow more people to register to vote. Elections are usually (but not always) held in early May. This deadline cannot be determined until the election is officially declared.

From 11th August to 30th November, additions to the register will be recorded via the Annual Canvass (our administration period), and will be effective from 1st December
