Please find below rules and regulations of the leagues;

Squash League Rules

  • If a player is injured for all matches during the squash league his/her matches will be crossed out.  The player will need to put on the league table that he/she is injured or contact the league organiser and let him know that they are injured.  Obviously the player can be retained within the league if they wish, but it is likely that they will be relegated, as they will have scored the minimum number of points in their league.
  • If a player becomes injured having already played some of their matches the points already accumulated will remain.
  • If a player refuses to play an opponent in a squash league match on three separate occasions the player refusing is awarded 2 points with the opponent being awarded 8 points (In effect it is a 3-0 win). Alternatively the match can be re-arranged if both players agree to it.
  • If a player has not played any of his/her matches then they will be removed from the league, unless they let the league organiser know that they still want to be kept in it.  If they are kept in then it is likely that they will be relegated, as they will have scored minimum points.
  • At the end of a league it will be 2 promoted and 2 relegated.

If players are tied then it will be decided on who has played the most matches.
If they have played the same amount of matches then it will go down to the score of the match between each other.

  • Both Leagues will run for 8 weeks

The duration of the league maybe changed at the discretion of the League Organiser.

Any comments on the league rules or even just general suggestions for improvements would be greatly received.
